Happy Birthday - Leah

Well I guess that I get to write a post after all as today is my beautiful wife Leah's birthday.

Happy Birthday my love. I love you so very much.

I hope that we have many more to enjoy here on our slice of paradise. And it is a public holiday today....they reckon it is because Anzac and Easter Monday fell on the same day...but I know it is because it is your birthday.

It is raining again today but that is not such a bad thing as I finished off preparing the veggie garden for planting out all our seedlings and winter veggies. The rain will help to bed down the mulch that Leah spread on top of the garden beds that I dug over and fertilised with good organic blood and bone. 

Now unfortunately I have to study for an exam tomorrow so no sitting around enjoying the holiday for me.

First Post

Well at long last my darling husband has set me up with a blog that I can use to share what is going on in our beautiful corner of the world. Now all I have to do is find the time to put the words down to share with you!

I am sure that in between looking after our property, tending to the veggie garden, cooking beautiful food using local and seasonal produce and fighting to stop coal seam gas mining in our valley I will find some time to keep you abreast of all that is going on with the Hobbs family in Lynchs Creek. I might even let Paul write a few lines on the odd occasion if he is lucky!

We look forward to sharing our photos, videos and stories with you, our family and friends.
